ICD-10 : A Practical Guide to Conversion W hen the original requirements and schedule for adopting ICD-10 were first published almost two years ago, it seemed like we had eons of time to get ready. But, when you consider that in a little more than a month, CMS will start accepting 5010 codes and add in all of the other practice changes scheduled during the same period, time is actually running pretty short.
